We are very excited to be opening our doors for the first time for Heritage Open Days.
Visitors can take a short guided tour of the offices and meeting rooms which formed the main hall and living quarters of Grade II listed Bradbury Building, currently home to Age UK Leeds. This former charity school is located on the site of the chapel and Alms houses built by John Harrison in the churchyard of St John the Evangelist (managed by the Churches Conservation Trust). Visitors can take a short guided tour of the offices and meeting rooms which formed the main hall and living quarters and see the beautiful inter-sected arched windows, exposed roof beams and award winning renovations.
Saturday 13 September: Tours 1100-1500
Sunday 14 September: Tours 1100-1500
Max 10 people per tour/session
In addition to our usual menu we will have Yorkshire Cream Teas with a whole aray of flavours of scones from our famous sultana to cheesy Cheddar, lemon and ginger or cranberry and orange.
Why not join us over the weekend and visit some of our neighbours too such as St John the Evangelist church or The Grand theatre and City Varieties.
